News:

• NSE will conduct a special trading session on 18 May to test preparedness for unexpected incidents.
• E-cycle manufacturer, EMotorad will set up the world's largest e-cycle factory in Pune, Maharastra.
• Disney+ Hotstar's paid subscriptions fell by 23 lakh to 3.6 crore in the Jan-March quarter.
• India's FMCG sector grew by 6.6% in value in the Jan-March quarter. Rural consumption growth was higher than urban growth: NielsonIQ report.

Stock Updates:

• Dr. Reddy's Lab: reported a net profit increase 36% to Rs. 1,307 crores for the Jan-Mar quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 40 per share.
• MRF: announced a record dividend of Rs. 194 per share.
• Dixon Tech: The company's subsidiary has partnered with Nokia to develop and manufacture telecom products in India.
• Adani Green: signed a 20-year deal with the Sri Lankan government to develop 2 wind power stations. The Company will invest $442 million for the project.
• Hindustan Zinc: announced an interim dividend of Rs. 10 per share for the financial year 2025.
• IRB Infra: recorded a rise in the net profit by 45.1% year-on-year to Rs. 188.9 crores in the Jan-Mar Quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 0.10 per share.

• Indegene IPO has been subscribed 7.35 times. Retail subscription: 3.82 times. Open till 8th May 2024.
• 2 IPOs - Aadhar Housing Finance and TBO Tek - are opening on 8th May 2024.
