• India's Industrial Production (IIP) growth rate slowed to 4.9% in March from 5.7% in Feb.
• UK's GDP growth stood at 0.6% in the Jan-March quarter, the highest in 3 days.

• Tata Motors: reported a net profit increase of 218.9% to Rs. 17,529 crores for the Jan-Mar quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 6 per share.
• TVS Holding: will buy an 80.74% stake in Home Credit India Finance for Rs. 554.06 crore.
• Cipla: reported a net profit increase of 79% to Rs. 939 crores for the Jan-Mar quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 13 per share.
• Bank of Baroda: reported a net profit increase of 2.3% to Rs. 4,886 crores for the Jan-Mar quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 7.60 per share. Net Non-Performing Assets (NPA) stood at 0.68% vs 0.89% a year ago.
• Kalyan Jewellers: reported a net profit increase of 97% to Rs. 137.49 crores for the Jan-Mar quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 1.20 per share.
• Abbott India: recorded a rise in the net profit by 24.10% year-on-year to Rs. 287.10 crores in the Jan-Mar Quarter. Declared a dividend of Rs. 410 per share.
• Happiest Minds: The company's subsidiary will buy a 100% stake in Aureus Tech Systems for $8.5 million.
